    Yes, tourists are eligible to get refund of the sales tax 7% from their purchased goods upon their departure from Singapore. It is called Goods and Services Tax (GST) refund. The refund can be collected as cash from the departure area in airport or can be requested to refund to the credit card or by bank cheque.
    There are some conditions to get this refund,

    -Must be a foreign citizen, not a Singaporean or permanent resident of Singapore.
    -Must spend minimum S$100 from any shop in one day.
    -Not spent more than 365 days in Singapore before the date of purchase and will not spend more than 365 days in Singapore after the purchase.
    -Goods must be brought out of Singapore within 12 hours of refund claim at Singapore customs.
