Bonifacio Day is celebrated in honor of Andres Bonifacio, the Father of Philippine Revolution. This event is celebrated through simultaneous flag raising ceremony and wreath laying rites in different Bonifacio sites in the country. The main event which is held in Manila is usually headed by the Philippine President.
