There is no special worship to perform in Muharram. As the Muharram month is mentioned as one of the holiest month, Sunni Muslims pass this month in Ibadat (worship) such as fasting, Nafal Salat, reciting the holy Quran. Prophet Muhammad (SM) advised to fast on the 9th and 10th on this month. Some Muslims also fast throughout the month of Muharram. Reciting Quran and offering Nafal Salat is also performed by the Muslims in this month. The Shia Muslims has some difference in worshiping in this month.
